Job Description

The implementation of the Pret Barista station and L’or Barista station concepts are a strategic priority for JDE Professional UK. The Commercial Manager role is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the solution into the UK market. In doing this, the Commercial Manager will work as part of a cross functional team with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Finance in order to deliver our growth agenda.  This role has global exposure and requires strong stakeholder influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, where needed, and implement UK business strategy
  • Negotiate commercial agreement with distributors
  • Build business model and maintain for continued efficiency
  • Attend global team meetings as needed
  • Manage relationship with partner brand (Pret a Manger)
  • Present Monthly update to Steering Group
  • Manage monthly KPI tracker and approvals flow with partner brand
  • Onboard distributors and monitor vs agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Inform and align with internal stakeholders
  • Overall responsibility for performance tracking and reporting
  • Work closely with overall UK sales team in support of successful implantation of Barista Stations

Qualifications

  • Commercial experience within the Professional B2B environment is essential
  • Strong and demonstrated project management in FMCG required
  • Demonstrate NOS, GM and EBIT growth achievement
  • Structured approach to strategy development and implementation
  • Excellent Leadership skills and Communications skills
  • Good working knowledge of Coffee category in the Out Of Home market preferred
  • Commercially astute with P&L understanding and ability to leverage OOH metrics
  • Ability and confidence to build networks at all levels
  • Excellent planning, org, communication, analytical and problem solving
