Job Description

JDE Professional is the division who is worldwide responsible for all our Out of Home customers. Within JDE Professional, the department Global Supply Chain arranges the supply of coffee machines and spare parts for more than 50 countries and is the main contact for international suppliers and local Operation departments. Global Supply Chain consists of 14 enthusiastic people and we are looking for intern on the Global Master Data Team for about 6 months.

During your internship you will be assisting the team with the daily maintenance and quality of the company’s SAP Supply Chain Master Data on an international scale (>10.000 articles). For the local teams you will be the first point of contact. Where you will have a vital role in processing of the data requests and providing information on the content and meaning of the stored data.

Furthermore you will be helping the team with generating and analysing of management information and business support. Which also includes tracking issues, conduct root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions.

When you are fully onboarded with the operation work (+/- 2 months) we would like you to participate in project teams for our innovations, delisting of machines and spare parts.

Please find below a summary of the key responsibilities you will have during the internship:

Operation Master Data:

  • Monitoring and handling mails in shared mailbox of the team
  • Responsible for processing Car-stock workflow requests
  • Responsible for processing Purchase & Sales-prices workflow requests
  • Align with our stakeholders on the requests and mails
  • Team meetings
  • Scheduled calls with the MSU’s
  • Bi-weekly 1:1 meeting
  • Other tasks/calls

Project:  

  • Documenting the SCD-team scope of work & Identify the processes/documentation/tools required to support this scope
  • Analyse the current way of working
  • Analyse the current plant-matrix
  • Check Masterdata on current setup for all MSU’s
  • Align with stakeholders on status quo
  • Put all input in a new ‘Rulebook Supply Chain Data” and validate with stakeholders
  • Update the Playbooks Masterdata
  • Align weekly with SCD-team mentor on progress
  • Feedback to SCD-team on progress and business rules accuracy

To be successful in this role you need to: 

  • Following a MBO or HBO/Bachelor education on Data Science or Supply Chain with an interest in Service logistics or FMCG.
  • You are fulltime available for a work internship (any needed assignment from your studies can be discussed).
  • Have the aspiration to gain knowledge of SAP, intermediate/advance skills in Excel and Access and analytical skills.
  • Show a high level of accuracy in your work while maintaining a service oriented approach.
  • Be a team player, communicatively strong and enjoy a dynamic business environment.
  • Have a strong command in English (both written and spoken), as this is our business language.

The internship starts in September for a period of minimum 6 months/40 hours per week.
