Job Description

As Revenue Growth Controller you will lead the team developing JDE’s commercial growth strategies on a 2-4 year horizon.  You will report directly to the Sales Director and have high visibility within the UK Leadership Team, working cross functionally to play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the commercial strategy of JDE UK.


You will be leading, coaching and developing a team of 5, responsible for setting and developing profitable revenue and margin growth strategies across the key pillars of RGM – Price Tiers, Pack Price Architecture, Promotion optimisation, Assortment/Mix, and Trade Terms projects.  You will own the strategic agenda and be responsible for establishing and sustaining strong, collaborative relationships with Senior stakeholders across UK&I Leadership, Global and Manufacturing stakeholders in order to achieve these goals.



  • Creation of pipeline of minimum +£20M Revenue & Margin opportunities beyond Core Business AOP, supporting the 5 year Value Creation Plan by achieving/exceeding NOS/KG and GP/KG targets for the UK business.
  • Recruit, coach and develop your team to become a best in class RGM team, highly accountable for delivering growth through the development and deployment of RGM projects.
  • As a key member of the Sales Leadership Team, play an active role in total sales strategy, performance and development of the broader sales function.
  • Build highly collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders in order to shape, develop and deploy RGM strategies.
  • Lead Pricing strategy including JDE’s price tiering approach and use of pricing as lever to grow NOS/KG and mitigate potential future cost inflation.
  • Develop Pack Price Architecture recommendations that support JDE channel strategy and improve revenue and profit delivery.
  • Review, evaluate and recommend promotional trade spend recommendations to improve Revenue and Margin.
  • Lead strategies on active mix management to accelerate revenue and profit growth through segment, channel and customer mix and assortment.
  • Be a visible leader and champion for RGM at UK and Global communities in JDE.

Must haves:

  • Minimum 12 years fmcg commercial experience, including Revenue Growth management, customer management and line management across multiple channels, change leadership.
  • X-functional project management incl Marketing, Finance and Supply chain
  • Proven at developing and executing brand & npd growth strategies in retail.
  • Experience of presenting insight and strategic recommendations to senior management.


  • Experience in commercial finance / FP&A roles beneficial.
  • Geographically mobile in the future
  • Good IT skills especially ppt, xls


Additional Information

Based primarily in the Maidenhead office you will be required to travel to our Banbury site occasionally (up to 1-2x per month).

This is a senior and pivotal role – leading a team of 5 you will collaborate closely with the Sales, Finance and Marketing Directors to shape and execute RGM strategies.
