Job Description

Over the next 5 years, online sales are forecast to be the largest contributor of growth, to both the category and to JDE. We are clear on how we unlock this opportunity and as result we are excited to be recruiting for a DTC & Marketplace Specialist to help implement our online strategy within two of our key online channels.

As our DTC & Marketplace Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting in the launch plan of our Amazon UK Marketplace, working alongside the Amazon National Account Manager to ensure the hybrid 1P/3P approach is optimised. Once implemented, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the Amazon UK marketplace business, including the design of stretching growth plans and initiatives. Within DTC you will support on our incredible SiSe brands Tassimo & L’OR to help transform the way we drink coffee in the UK, making it more accessible to enjoy a wide range of coffee shop style drinks at the touch of a button in your home. For this role we are looking for a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset to help us deliver this growth opportunity and help shape the future of the category.

Reporting to the DTC Business Manager, you will primarily be part of the Ecommerce Team, which forms part of the wider Sales function, as well as working alongside our marketing teams to ensure alignment on initiatives and annual plans to help drive our overall brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • The delivery of the Marketplace AOP; encompassing agreed volume, RSV, EBIT & EBIT% measures
  • Set up and day-to-day management of the UK marketplace stores / listings
  • Marketplace ranging/assortment decisions, including an optimised range of variety packs
  • Agreeing and implementing marketplace pricing & promotions, with a focus on driving AOV
  • Marketplace demand forecasting and inputting into relevant internal systems
  • Marketplace financial management & reconciliation, alongside the Finance team
  • Managing activation and search performance across on Amazon, working alongside the Marketing team to maximise ROAS
  • Working closely with the DTC Business Manager to develop a sustainable and profitable Marketplace growth strategy for JDE
  • Testing & learning to understand the impact of all levers to drive Amazon UK marketplace growth
  • Work with the Tassimo teem to identify strategic focus areas, insights and optimisation. 
  • Responsible for maintaining DtC / Global contact to ensure successful execution of sales strategy and promotions.
  • Develop and collate assets needed across DtC to make sure these shops represent our brands
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, post evaluate promotional effectiveness, evaluate competitor performance and provide support to DtC Lead
  • Assess significant movements and changes in the customer landscape specifically related to performance marketing and on-site behaviour
  • Execute the activation plan: Consumer, traffic, conversion, sales, product performance & secondarily: brewer registration and voucher redemption + other relevant offers
  • Setting the standards to deliver CDJ and perfect brand hub
  • Coordinate, measure and action plan CDJ

Qualifications

  • Proven UK Marketplace Management and DTC experience
  • An entrepreneurial self-starter mindset
  • Passion for ecommerce / online / digital
  • A restlessness to seek out further growth
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and leveraging strong internal and external networks
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques, preferably within FMCG
  • Strong organisation & project management skills
  • Financially astute; can interpret and create a P&L
  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel to internal & external meetings as required

Additional Information

Based primarily in the Hurley office you will be required to travel to our Banbury site (3/4 x per month) and to customers as required.
